This third edition of the Biochemistry logbook has been meticulously compiled in alignment with the latest Competency-Based Undergraduate Curriculum 2024 prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC). With medical science constantly evolving, this logbook serves as a structured tool to support both students and faculty in implementing the updated curriculum effectively. Designed to facilitate both formative and summative assessments, the logbook encourages reflective writing and includes provision for faculty feedback, enabling continuous improvement and active learning. It also includes a flexible tabulated format that allows departments to document additional competencies, especially those related to Vertical Integration and SDL.

• Predefined skill competencies of Biochemistry given in the UG curriculum module, volume I, 2024 for recording the activities conducted in a simple tabulated format based on NMC Logbook module
• Separate sections provided for skill competencies needed for certification in the subject
