The main aim of this book is to reach out to all students, the basic principles involved in the art of surgery by bringing out in a lucid way the steps involved in various procedures, from the simplest of the procedures to the most complex radical surgeries. There were few shortcomings in the first and second editions. They are addressed adequately along with correction of mistakes in the text and diagram. Few current concepts are updated in most of the chapters.
