The fourth edition of the Textbook of Microbiology for Dental Students has been written as per the syllabus prescribed by the Dental Council of India. Keeping in mind the requirements of dental students emphasis has been on the oral manifestations of various microorganisms. Each chapter has been carefully updated and expanded to include new, medically relevant, discoveries. In the chapter on hepatitis viruses, emphasis has been on various hepatitis viruses and dentistry.
