Health education and wellness books are written for the general public to educate them about major health-specific topics. The topic of sexuality has always been taboo in India. It remains a forbidden and embarrassing subject for discussion right from adolescence to late adulthood. The incomplete and inaccurate information about sex that is gained from friends, magazines, and the internet may lead to many unanswered questions and sometimes may even be harmful. What is the correct age for sex education and how should it be imparted? Since there is so much reluctance to discuss it openly, we felt it was the right moment to produce a small book that would provide some of the answers to questions people ask.

This book covers topics such as the anatomy of the female and male sexual organs, adolescent sexual health, impotence, erectile dysfunction, and HIV and AIDS. All this is carried in a question-and-answer format, liberally supplemented by illustrations, which we hope will make the answers easier to understand. We believe that to live a full life, a person should not only be physically, mentally, and emotionally fit but also be sexually healthy.
